Chogger's Beta Release

On May 10, we launched our official beta release! That means that, while the site has seen a huge boost in functionality, we've still got some new features under our sleeves. Just wait for what comes next...

We're proud of the progress we've made over the last few months. Just some of the new features we've added for this beta version include:

New Comic Creator - The Comic Creator has been completely renovated from the ground up, with new tools, including line-smoothing and advanced speech balloon controls, and... webcam access! Take a photo of yourself with your webcam, add text and drawings, and... you gotta check this out.
Series - Comics can now be placed in a series, and that series can have its own picture, description and color scheme. Get ready for episodes, themes, and whatever else you guys dream up.
Subscriptions - With all those series, you'll want to be able to keep track of your favorite artists' latest comics. Now you can, with Subscriptions! RSS fans, rejoice! The comic feeds will work in your web browser or favorite RSS reader.
Messages - All that cross-subscribing and exploring new comics might introduce you to some new friends. Welcome to "CMail"! Message anyone on the site through our new system, directly. And comments have been updated and expanded. Pretty slick.
New layout - The site now stretches the width of your screen, making browsing way easier, and freeing up some space for related comics and such. Easily scroll through comics with the comic footer controls. Plus, there are some pretty cool effects scattered throughout the site.

Of course, with all these new features there are bound to be some hiccups. If you notice anything that seems a little out of place, or you think of something that you'd love to see, why not let us know. We're going to be very busy for awhile, and we can't wait.
